San Gabriel Country Club was founded in 1904 on land that once belonged to the historic San Gabriel Mission.
The original course was only nine holes with sand-oiled greens typical of that time. In 1912 the course was enlarged to 18 holes by noted golfer-architect Norman Macbeth, who later designed other well-known Southern California golf courses. At historic San Gabriel Country Club, we experience golf the way it was meant to be. Our tree lined gently sloped course, beautifully contoured to the serene vistas of the San Gabriel Valley is a pleasure to play.
Camaraderie is abundant in our elegant yet casually inviting Club. We are a close-knit community enjoying a variety of activities. The Club is particularly proud of its family-oriented events, which offer extraordinary culinary selections, and often include entertainment and special attractions. Some of our events include, Bocce, Buffets & BBQ's, Concerts on the Fairway, Wine Dinners and so much more.
Dining at San Gabriel Country Club is excellent with great food and servers who know the members and their preferences. Our wine program has been recognized as among the best in the country.
For more than a century, San Gabriel Country Club has set the standard for great golf and friendly active club life. If San Gabriel's unique blend of great golf, welcoming community and superb leisure experience appeals to you we invite you to look closer.
